Peace panel for Colombia held in Toronto

This past October a peace panel was held to the future of Colombia considering the results of the plebiscite held in that country. The event was moderated by Lawyer and President of the Canadian Colombian Professional Association, Andrew Carvajal with Nicolas Lloreda Ricaurte- Ambassador of Colombia in Canada, Alfonso Valdivieso Sarmiento Former Attorney General, Minister of Education, Ambassador to the United Nations and House Representative of Colombia (via Skype). Luis Van Isschot- Professor in the History Department at the University of Toronto and author of “The Social Origins of Human Rights: Protesting Political Violence in Colombia’s Oil Capital, 1919-2010”. Pablo F.G. Bréard – Vice-President and Head of International Economics at Scotiabank. Donald Kingsbury – Professor in the Political Science Department and Latin American studies at the University of Toronto.
